7 Supermarkt-RegalLayoutTipps, die den Umsatz steigern

A shelf is not a shelf — it is a silent salesperson. Small layout changes routinely move category sales by double digits. These seven tips come straight from ACE RACK store-planning projects.
1. Respect the "eye-level = buy-level" rule
Place your highest-margin and fastest-moving items between 1.2 m and 1.6 m. Use the lower shelves for bulk and the top for brand blocks.
2. Build a power wall at the entrance
The first gondola run customers see should carry destination categories — promotions and weekly specials — to set the tone and pull them deeper.
3. Keep the aisle flow counter-clockwise
Most shoppers drift right then circle counter-clockwise. Put high-impulse zones on that natural path.
4. Use pegboard and slatwall for flexibility
Perforated and slatwall back panels let you re-merchandise in minutes without new fixtures — ideal for seasonal and promotional churn.
5. Make the checkout the last impulse zone
Small, high-margin items near the queue are the most profitable square metre in the store.
6. Light it like a stage
Uniform, warm LED lighting on shelves increases dwell time. Dark shelves read as "out of stock".
7. Leave the floor plan editable
Choose a boltless system such as our EUS50 so the layout can evolve with the business, not fight it.
